“Pintar y esculpir son actividades artísticas inherentes a la vida del hombre. La metáfora es el lenguaje del artista. A través de él, la realidad se sintetiza o abstrae para representar objetos personajes y crear su propio lenguaje. La escultura, debido a su carácter tridimensional, es la actividad que más me identifica. Es directo, existe como tal y no se puede utilizar ningún truco para su realización. Es franca.

 La pintura es un misterio lleno de sorpresas. Se revela cuando tiene que ser revelado. Es una ventana poética de la realidad.

Para mí, crear se ha convertido en una actividad vital. A través de la experimentación he podido explicar el mundo y la creación... así me he acercado a la vida misma. La creación artística requiere dedicación y trabajo constantes. Bajo esta premisa, me permito entrar plenamente en esta actividad y reinventarla y reinventarme cada nuevo día. Siempre la razón de mi invención es lo que me rodea: mi mujer, mis hijos, la lluvia, el sol, la luna, un libro, música, etc.... todo lo que veo y me llama la atención es un pretexto para inventar algo. Puedo ir directamente a una piedra o madera tallada, a un modelo de arcilla o una tela pequeña o grande. Incluso involucrarse en el proceso de fundición de bronce. Todo depende de mi humor. Lo permito porque mantengo la semilla de la creación intacta. No tengo tiempo ni técnicas específicas preestablecidas. El trabajo me llama y me dice el camino. Puede ser muy rápido o tomar años. No hay reglas ni tiempos. De esta manera he logrado mi trabajo. He participado en simposios internacionales de escultura y pintura y he expuesto mi trabajo en muchos lugares: galerías, museos, casas culturales. Lo importante para mí es compartir mi visión personal del mundo "
